The Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP) is a provincial government finance development agency established under the umbrella of the Department of Economic Development, which aims to provide support and capacity for small-, medium- and micro-sized enterprises (SMMEs) and co-operatives within the Gauteng Province. GEP contributes and facilitates the revitalisation of Gauteng’s township economies, increases the participation of SMMEs and co-operatives in the Province’s mainstream economy, and contributes to the growth and development of 11 identified sectors. GEP also offers financial and non-financial support to qualifying SMMEs and co-operatives, and delivers customised business solutions that assist entrepreneurs to run their businesses efficiently. This includes facilitating CIPC registration, providing business advise and commissioning business development support interventions.
