Javan Fabrications was started in 2004, operating from small premises, manufacturing light- and medium-steel components in modular form. Since its inception, the company has expanded four times, and is currently housed within a 2 475 m_ workshop area, comprising three separate bays (each serviced with 10 tonne-capacity overhead cranes). The company specialises in the manufacture of medium to heavy mechanical equipment, for the mining, energy, and marine-based industries, with a particular focus on high-specification fabrication work. Projects include cranes, winches, pontoons, barges and structural steel. Its scope of work extends from the point of receiving raw material right to the completed product. The company’s experience in the steel manufacturing sector and its collaborative approach enables it to optimise the total manufacturing process to the benefit of the client. This brings a reduction in both manufacturing process time and cost, to guarantee a ‘first time correct’ manufacturing policy, with an optimum quality product for the client.
